Skateboarding began as a spontaneous creation in the 1950s, when surfers wanted to get out of the water and "surf the streets." No longer bound by the water, they were free to get out and get moving on streets, in parks, and through cities. "The Skater" allows your little one to be as active and spontaneous as those early California surfers breaking free of the water.
FUN FACT: The first outdoor skate park in the United States was in Florida in 1976.
